Phil, I've had problems on and off with the personal radio option not showing up in the web UI or on the SB since 6.2. When the personal radio option was missing, I could "force" it to appear, by starting Personal Radio on my PC with the LastFM player, shutting that down then immediately switching to the webui and pressing default station as you.
I think James looked into this and concluded the problem was at the Last.fm end - not sure what may have changed since then. Re the "Empty" problem - assume you're using 6.5 ? I tried a test upgrade at the weekend to see if it was a bit less bleeding edge and had the same problem.
