im running debian linux with mplayer and w32codecs from www.debian-multimedia.org the mplayer test runs fine, as do all but live streams of BBC stations im using: SlimServer_v6.2.1.tar.bz2 alienbbc-linux-v1.05_6.2-3.tar.gz
