Gaa!

After 6 hours trolling around here and elsewhere, I give up.

Powerbook 12", OS 10.4.7

I've got Slimserver 6.5b1,
the latest MPlayer (5MB, in usr/local/bin along with LAME)
and MPlayer.sh (8kb, in usr/local/slimplayer/Bin).

Checked the 'app=/usr/local/bin/mplayer' string in MPlayer.sh using
Textwrangler, looks fine.

AlienBBC is in the Slimplayer menu, I can browse to BBC stations
fine...

BUT....

When I open one, I get the dread RTSP error message. So it's off to the
File Types, where yep, the 3 RTSP ones are unchecked. Checking them, hit
Save, and I get:

File Format Conversions 25:
Setting was changed.

File Format Conversions 24:

And when I go back, the boxes are unchecked.

Help? Please? could this be a permissions issue? I've set the
permissions for LAME, MPlayer & MPlayer.sh to group=me.

Any ideas much appreciated. No doubt I've missed something bleeding
obvious here, but buggered if I can find it.

Cheers,

Mike
