Thanks mr_hyde,

I did all this changes as you wrote, leaved only the rstp -> mp3
conversion active (lame), and restarted the slimserver (through the
SSODS-interface), but AlienBBC is still not working: even if I see
starting mplayer.sh and lame in the processes, I get no sound output,
the radio station remains connecting.

Switching to a "normal" radio station is no problem, they work fine. I
repeated all these procedures several times, of course. In the
attachment you can see two logs (recorded from slimserver with
d_source): one "standard.log", whe using an usual radio station (the
french FIP), and the second "alienbbc.log" when trying to connect to
Radio 4. BTW, the processes started when switching to an AlienBBC
station remain active, even after a stop of the player and even after a
stop of slimserver. The corresponding output of ps axu is:

root 9756 0.0 0.5 2500 332 ? S 00:22 0:00 sh -c
"/volume1/SlimServer/Bin/mplayer.sh" -really-quiet -vc null -vo null
-bandwidth 10000000 -cache 128 -af
volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 -ao
pcm:nowaveheader:file=/dev/stdout
"rtsp://rmlivev8.bbc.net.uk/farm/*/ev7/live24/worldservice/liveinfent.ra"
| "/volume1/SlimServer/Bin/lame" --silent -r -x -q 9 -b 0 /dev/stdout -
root 9758 0.0 2.4 3896 1536 ? S 00:22 0:00
/volume1/SlimServer/Bin/lame --silent -r -x -q 9 -b 0 /dev/stdout -

Any additional hints from you or bpa or anybody...?

Thanks, Manuel
