Happy Birthday Moose! I use it everyday.

Can you tell me if the MySQL steps listed on your website are still
valid if I want to have a copy of my slimserver database here at work?
I have never taken the time to get that working but I think it's time
now. Are those the 'tweaks' you mentioned? I'm running a 6.5 nightly
from a couple days ago.

Hi Mike..

The steps on the website should be fine for getting MySQL working.

The only thing is if your SS is on a different machine to Moose, you'll
need to make sure you can access the MySQL database remotely.

To do this with the built-in MySQL, you need to remove the
bind-address line from the MySQL/my.tt file and restart the server.
On windows you need to let mysqld through any firewalls on the
server too..

The settings in moose for a standard 6.5 or 7.0 nightly should be:
db: slimserver
port: 9092
usr: slimserver (or root)
password: <empty>

Let me know how you get on..
