Yes, it's DSL 2.4.

as a good mini-itx client which we could pxe boot and use to connect to
a more powerful server machine?

I'd recommend http://thinstation.org/ if you need a terminal server or citrix client booting over PXE. When we decided to use twenty "old" computers as thin clients I considered using a remastered DSL as well. But thinstation was so much easier to implement as it is optimized for this task. It is one of the Linux distributions which doesn't do a lot, but does it extremely well.
