Apologies for what is probably a stupid question. I use Moose very
successfully on the Windows PC where Slimserver runs and the 14000
track library resides.

Now I've added a third SB and want to control it from a networked PC in
another room via Moose (all the funky media key support for a
remote-phobic user).

Moose works, Media keys work, Songs play, but I can't get Moose to scan
the MySQL library from the networked PC - what settings should I be
using?

I'm on 6.5.0 Beta 2, Windows XP.

Sadly, by default on recent 6.5 and 7.0 builds the server's internal MySql
db is limited to accesses from the local machine only.

To get round this, make sure the server, and more importantly mysqld.exe
are not running and remove the line 'bind-address = 127.0.0.1' from the
file "C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\MySQL\my.tt" (or whereever it's
installed)

I need to update the website instructions..

Another solution would be to run Moose on the server and share the
generated moo file with all other Mooses.. Not ideal though as it ties
the server to windows, which isn't good..
