I just installed your new AlbumReview plugin on the latest 6.5 trunk. When I tried to get information, the Gathering Information screen appeared and then stayed on the screen permanently, blocking attempts to do anything else.
Max, I uploaded 2.0.2 which should fix this and some other issues. You might also try to increase the timeout in slimserver (default 5 seconds) if you're still having troubles. The problem you saw was due to some incomplete error handling in case the connection timed out. I was able to work around it by increasing that value to 15.
But the current version should gracefully recover from such a situation without changing the timeout.
