The usual reason for install failing are; 1. Version mismatch 6.3 of Alien in Slimserver 6.5 or vice versa. Sometime a beta build of 6.5/6.3 was incompatible with a specific version of AlienBBC. 2. Not giving the right destination directory 3. Mixed installation - user tried 6.5 and then installed 6.3 without deleting the 6.5 installation - mixture of files left over. 4. permissions messed up and slimserver can't access the plugins - very rare with Windows.
What is the version and build of your Slimserver ? Best solution in all these cases is delete slimserver directory and re-install from scratch.
