All the network settings are as created by the installer. I'm pretty sure the installer didn't ask me any questions relating to my network, so I guess everything is pretty standard. It looks like the Linux receive window is held in file /proc/sys/net/core/rmem_default. Based on this mine is set to 107520 (both default and maximum). Is it likely that mine is too high or too low? > What speed & type of broadband connection do you have ?I have "up to 8Mb" > from BT. It is generaly around 4.5Mb downstream & about 400Kb upstream. My SS box uses a wired (100Mb) connection to my router (Netgear DG834). The network port is the one built into the Via PC's (M1000) motherboard.
