I did an install of 6.5.0 and AlienBBC 1.06 into an XP Pro which had no security and no previous slimserver. I installed the SoftSqueeze (3.0) that came with 6.5.0. My log had timestamps so there is still something strange with your installation.
I had terrible problem with SoftSqueeze 3./0 - Radio4 would & would not play erratically but everything was OK with my SB3 so I upgraded SoftSqueeze to 3.2.1 (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/softsqueeze/softsqueeze_windows_3_2_1.exe?download) and things worked OK now. RTE data streams are very slow (mono & poor quality) 16-20kbps/sec so they take a long time to start as AlienBBC has a standard 128kbyte buffer - Radio Network timeout needs to be set to 40 to cope with RTE. A number of times 2fm would connect but just wouldn't stream using mplayer on a command lines - so I think RTE is overloaded. To listen to RTE1 you needs to create a sub-directory called "codecs" in the "MSWin32-x86-multi-thread" directory - if you use the default settings it would be C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\codecs Download the following zip file (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/windows-essential-20060611.zip ) and copy the following 2 files from the zip file into the codecs directory: pncrtl.dll sipr3260.dll -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28479 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
