Thanks for the replies. I still have the same issue. The firewall is there (it is listed as "jive"). There were a few old rules for softqueeze which I have had in the past, but uninstalled a long time back.
Could Malwarebytes be blocking it somehow? Can I use log files at the server to try to find the problem? It seems that there is no reason for this not to work. It's a fairly standard system. So what gives? I am pretty proficient technically, if someone can tell me what to check, where to start looking, I will dig. The fact that softsqueeze discovers my server already says something, right? presumably at that point it tries to connect and here is the problem. What kind of connection does it make? what port? I can dig out wireshark and see what is happening. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ danmcb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36694 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106510 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
