thanks all for the suggestions. 1. did the full reboot thing, no change. The squeezeplay doesn't find the server, and the server doesn't list squeezeplay.
2. I notice one odd thing - the other devices, Duets and the Boom - if I don't use them for a day or so, I have to power cycle them for them to be listed at the server. This seems to be a bit worse recently - before this only needed to be done once in a while.
