128kbps is the bit rate not the sampling rate - the sampling rate is typically something like 22050Hz 32kHz 44.1kHz, 48Khz but some audio
The OP posted some log output on github (https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/issues/123#issuecomment-266562864) which says the stream was 48kHz.
