After more than a decade of squeeze life the endless frustrations with spotify could be the last straw. It works one day but not the next, it syncs one day and then it doesn't, etc, etc. I could never get google play to work with my LMS and so i switched to spotify and it's worked for the most part but life is too short to endlessly be troubleshooting this nonsense. I guess I will finally throw in the towel and get some sonos speakers.
Giving some information about your server and setup might actually allow us to offer some help.
