It's not but the way live streaming is done in DASH as implemented by BBC - each6 sec chunk is timestamped. If a user pauses the simplest way to guess how much delayed was to compare PC system clock time against timestamp of the last packet played rather than poll a network reference clock as I assumed the PC clock would be OK. I think Touch "talks " to Squeezenetwork to get some of its icons/graphics or perhaps cover art scaling etc and that is the use of DNS - not playing a audio stream. OK - having cleared away some of the distractions enable the real problem to be identified - I'll need to think about what long latency does to DASH. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
