Thanks for your comments. I used to see the 404 problem with the previous version (1.4.x) - I had hoped the 1.5.* avoided going up to the avaability edge but to overcome a Windows issues with live stream - tweaks weremay made and perhaps the odl problem has been reintroiduced. That said to finds the Windows problem with live DASH streams , I played stream for many horus without a 404 so I'm guessing the 404 issue may have to do with ffw/rew actions on the stream and not just simple playing. I'll do more testing to try to force the issues and so fix it. Implementing DASH has been a learning process and the rewind of live stream was added late and I never cheked to see if there was an entry in the MPD to define it - I'll update the plugin. I know about the imda_transport.xml file - I used as the source for manually creating the menu.opml. I had an automated version but it missed out all the additional information such as icons, RadioPlayer and sources of metadata. I'll look into the 404 issue - it may be coming from the 1.4.* users.
