I have to look again, but the STOP is part of the requests whose answer is waited before processing another request. The difference is that "STOP" is not queued, but immediately processed and the queue is flushed. So the LOAD is processed only because the STOP has been responded (or a response with a higher id has been received) ... well normally :( What I see is [00:46:48.420642] CastSocketThread:699 [0x97ad00]: type:MEDIA_STATUS (id:70) PAUSED [00:46:48.431119] CastSocketThread:702 [0x97ad00]: type:RECEIVER_STATUS (id:73) and knowing that the stop is ID 71, then it means a miss. Now, having said that and looking again at it, it's true that the "get status" requests are not queued and that might be an issue that confuses the player. There is no real documentation that says that the *all* requests has to be ack and no request shall be sent before the current on has been responsed (which might cause a dead lock problem). I'll build tonight a version that queues the CastGetMediaStatus. (unless you want to try, you seem to be fully versed in programming). You have to update the CastGetMediaStatus in "cast_util.c" and get the event from the queue processing in ProcessQueue in castcore.c LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
