I could put the CD to work. I burned it in another machine and... bingo... Dear Michael, I have 2 questions:
1. I put some music in a folder in the hda4 partition via windows XP. Into the slimserver I mounted that partition and indicated that folder /mnt/hda4/mp3 to slimserver as my music folder. After a rescan all worked and I could hear the music. After a reboot, none was set in the slimserver. How can this be persistent? 2. Is it possible to install the slimcd into the hd? Thanks a lot.
