Any quality difference compared to the UK aac 320 is probably illusory, due to the idea that it's only compressed, rather than processed in some clever way. Nonetheless it does sound good and I have told the BBC. I encourage others to do so on their website. That didn't play at all (the standard aac one does). I wonder if it's possible that the R3 plugin isn't announcing the flac stream data type so that squeeze2upnp knows how to match that with upnp device capabilities.
