No development is being done to 1.4.*. While 1.5.2 was released using http 1.1 still had some error handling issues associated with http 1.1, there was a BBC change which required 1.4.10 and 1.5.3 to be released. 1.5.3 had fixed http 1.1 error handling, improved other areas but limited testing but it had some minor user reported issues (e.g. pause player at night with power off and restart in the morning after 8 hrs pause ) which I tried to reproduce but couldn't. I think 1.5.2 still works OK for on-demand users.
