A statically linked version is now part of the plugin. Did that still not work for you? Others have reported success... > The first thing I've noticed is high CPU usage for LMS and spotty both > when Spotify is streaming. Seems to not affect the systems operations. I think that's pretty normal. It shouldn't last for long, as this is while LMS/Spotty is buffering as much of the audio data as quickly as possible. This usually takes a few seconds before the load would lower again (as you noticed). I could imagine this potentially being a problem on a single core system. But with a Pi3 it's good use of its capabilities :-). > Second thing I'm seeing is 10-12 second delay at start of new stream. > Stock spotty users are you seeing similar? could it be load time for the > larger bin? it's 3X the original That's way too much. Me too, I think it takes a tad longer than with previous Spotify implementations, but it's rather in the range of 1-2 seconds, and for the first track only. > lastly and likely related to the onchange-hook, using squeezelite -S or > -G options I'm seeing stop/start execution between songs, no real delay > or big negative affect but this is the only instance in any plugin that > I've seen this behavior. That's not working as expected yet. There are bugs in librespot which render this effort kind of pointless. I wonder how you even got it working?!?
