Thanks for the update - I'm glad it's solved.

I'll remember that, but I don't think you should have had to install
any other modules on top of those already used by SlimServer 6.5 itself
- and SlimServer itself uses unidecode internally. Did you use
build-perl-modules.pl?

Anyway - good news and probably best not to try to work it out
(Unicode/UTF8 makes my head hurt!).
