Please also note what I said in the first line

Slartibartfast wanted to know where the figure 1536kbps came from - (a)
from the BBC and (b) BBC calculation is shown.

The actual bitrate over the network varies. IIRC back in May I measured
a rate varying from about 350 to 550kbps.  In some post BBC said rate
would be around 450kbist but in this blog they say 550kbps
