Here's the latest... I've modified the config.mak file for my previously unsucsesful MPlayer1.0rc1 build as per bpa's instructions, deleted the MPlayer executable, re-ran "make" and "make-install" and I've now got a fully working 1.0rc1 build working fine on my Linkstation LS1!!
20 mins of simultanious streaming of a BBC live feed to one SB3 and a Listern Again feed to another SB3 without any problems. Again, thanks bpa for all the help.
