I've got some scripts which trigger various player actions. I used to be able to play tracks by passing the spotify url (eg "spotify://track:7M0fsXo6rpXOKkveYooBob" or "spotify://album:21dbYScNUKn2Y1Vae8lACJ"). It seems that the "track" item works with Spotty but not the "album" ones (I've also tested with "playlist" links as well which also don't work).
Could you please try without the // in the URIs? spotify:album:21dbYScNUKn2Y1Vae8lACJ IMHO should work. At least with LMS 7.9.x
