Yes, the CPU is a problem. IO::Socket::SSL would probably be another problem. But as long as I haven't figured out how to compile for this CPU type, the latter doesn't really matter. Is there a chance Spotty will run on this CPU one day? Yes, there is a chance. But no guarantee. Depending on your processors speed it might be worth setting up a Pi3 to run LMS. I'm in the same situation (using a ReadyNAS Duo v2). Running LMS on the Pi3 is _much_ faster than running it on the NAS. And it does support Spotty, of course ;-).
