If you don't have real SB hardware, there are other solutions to AirPlay to a pi device. I'd recommend looking at these (shairport) as the whole AirPlay to SB is a complicated exercice that requires a really solid network and wifi setup, I know that for sure :-). Of course you should still use LMS because it's the best solution out there, but shairtunes2 is trying to answer a specific use cas that I'm not sure is valid for you. Other than that, 7.8.x is old, I'd recommend you move to 7.9.0
