The next redesign I'm currently working on will still have to look pretty different, at least on iPhone but I will probably make iPad somewhat similar in a lot of aspects. For iPhone X it now really hurts I introduced that dreaded landscape mode, brings nothing but trouble but with TheNotch and the bottom handle on iPhone X it will be a drama ... I literally have no idea how to do a good landscape design on that device and not completely de-commonize with portrait.
