that was quick, thanks! Well see, login as root is where I´m lost to begin with. How do i do that... I´m aware of the Raspberry solution and if all else fails thats what I´m going to do, but I´m a little stubborn so I really would like to try everything to get it running on the NAS only first.
Also just to make things even more amusing for me I can no longer acess the settings in the NAS, this is done by login in as local admin on the nas (just HTTPS and then the IP) but I have emailed Netgear support so lets hope for the best.
