All files were from the same day, before starting my listening session I cleared /tmp from these files, there were 3 or 4 files that was a few days old. I did skip a few times, mostly I switched players using the Spotify app. Between squeezebox players and iPhone/Computer devices. I saw you mention that files was cleared when there was 20 files or older than 24 hours. But I had 30+ files, but within 5 hours. And when starting I had a few older than 24hours. So purging of these files do not seem to work yet. I think the threshold can be reduced to 5 or 10 files or older than 10 minutes. It seems like these files are only needed for a few seconds, since they are created before playing a new song, and are removed after a few seconds when everything seem to work.
