This seems to be a Spotify Connect issue. I have a "real" connect device and a Chromecast. Using Spotify on my phone and streaming to any device the Volume normalization and Quality settings are greyed out. The settings are there using the phone as player or streaming using Airplay. There are several threads over at the Spotify community but they got little attention and where closed. If we open a new case and every one here voted on it maybe something would happen?
