If you are using the repository
(http://superdatetimewu.sourceforge.net/repo.xml), you should now be
able to update the CustomClock Jivelite applet.  It should be equivalent
to what Paul described - I re-started with erland's most current code
(with license dependency removed), and re-did the mods to allow it to
work under Jivelite.
It's also posted at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/superdatetimewu/files/CC_STUFF/CustomClock_JL_1.01.004.zip
