Can I recommend this thread ? MusicIP is recognised as an UpNp server which is why you see it in the settings, but that isn't the same as telling Slimserver to use MusicIP.
Have you enabled the option "Use MusicMagic" at the bottom of the Server Settings page ? If you don't see the option to "Use MusicMagic" in the bottom of the Server Settings page, it's likely you haven't started the two of them in the right order (MusicIP first, then Slimserver) so that they can "see" each other. A full clear and rescan ?
