Not sure why it would/should be different - this is the link to bands-album page. The difference is how you get the left-hand info to come up.
Because I implemented it that way :-). I don't want to push free listening. I want people to use bandcamp, but I also want them to actually support the artists they like. And linking to the buying page is/was part of bandcamp's terms when I implemented this.
