If you don't have and iPhone/Pad or iTunes, then you cannot do the test. I have to check, but I think I have purposely prevented the use of AirConnect to create an AirPlay device and reuse of the "virtual airplay device" with my AirPlay bridge (as you should go direct with squeeze2upnp).
