Eric, I just uploaded a new version, 1.13, that you might be interested
in.
http://www.tux.org/~peterw/slim/BottleRocket.pm.dec29b

In brief, this version lets you use a Squeezebox to control other X-10
devices. In the Web UI, you add a list of other devices like

B1=Bedroom TV;B2=Bedroom lamp;C4=Den amplifier

and you can up/down arrow in the BottleRocket plugin screen to see
screens like "Control: Bedroom TV". When you see one of these Control:
lines, you have 4 options:
Play button == send "on" code for this device
Pause button == send "off" code for this device
Rewind button == send "dim" code for this device (for lamps)
Forward button == send "bright" code for this device (for lamps)

I thought about making Play/Pause automatically work with the
amp/receiver associated with powering a player on/off, but I think it
makes more sense to just add the amp/receiver code in the new "other
X-10 devices to control" list so the amp's power can also be controlled
from other players.

Other rationales:
-"pause", when held, acts as "stop", so it seemed best for "off".
-The volume up/down keys *look* better for bright/dim operations, but I
thought it made more sense to leave those alone; don't want to dim my
light when the phone rings because I forgot the player was in the
BottleRocket display mode.

What do you think?

Peter
