The error comes from routine which is an LMS routine which works
obviously works for all other users.    It is called form a number of
places one of which would be used to play a track and if it failed a
"can''t open file for " message would be generated.

The failure is odd - it says problem getting the process handle whihc
should be the process handle of the LMS process !!

What type of player have you got ?
Depending on the player, I may be able to devise a test to exercise the
same code without using the CDPlayer plugin.  It is possible there is a
Win10 specific issue with CDplayer.
