I'm not sure i'm posting in the right place.
My system is composed by:
- LMS on a vm (debian jessie) up to date
- upnpbridge plugin
- airplay bridge plugin
- shairtunes2 plugin
- spotty plugin
All plugins are up to date.
I also have :
-1 squeezebox boom
-1 squeezebox classic
-2 sonos play1
-1 zettaly (like an android tab android 4.4.2)
-1 airport
-1 apple tv
Usually the system is pretty stable.
One of my sonos play1 is a bathroom.
It's controlled by a knx display (mdt) trough jeedom with a plugin and
scenarios.
The control is basic (volume, play, pause, favorite)
15 days ago i needed to change the name of a room in sonos app. I hate
their system which forces you to update and doesn't support old
iphones.
Since the sonos update my system crash every morning.
I don't know what was the version of sonos i was using (probably around
8.2)
I update to latest 8.x and a week later to 9.0.
When the system crash i have no access to web interface. The commands
trough jeedom do not work anymore.
ssh to the vm show me multiple instances of squeezeboxserver,
squeeze2upnp and squeeze2raop.
I can't kill them as the system relaunch each pid i kill. A reboot
command is uneffective. The only solution is to power cycle with esxi
client.
I have not found the cause in the logs which are huge.
Ithink the crash occurs when we (it's often my wife) send a play command
to the sonos player. It's a player from upnpbridge that's the reason i
am posting here.
Yesterday i installed sonos skill on my echo. The last command received
by the sonos player was from alexa. I don't know if it's important.
Today i restarted my vm and did some tries and all was ok.
Before that i had a crash every 2 or 3 weeks but now it's almost every
day. In both cases i have multiple instances of process running.
Hope this will talk to someone.
