The basic idea is in combination with the new "Valid" setting, as an example this makes it possible to make sure a track isn't played in the next 24 hours. The Song filter will probably not be used be used so much, I'm guessing that most users will choose to use the "Album" or "Artist" filters to skip the whole artist or album instead.
