Would you see the same disappearing of players if they were not synced?

Yes. And more:
All three players unsynced, I have nine instances of "spotty-hf -c ...",
nothing to connect to in Spotify App.

Can you get the full command line? That's not enough to make good sense.

Do you have more than the three usually synced players? You have _nine_ of them?

Connected to that player started a playlist in Spotify: no reaction, no
music played, progress bar in app not moving.
Second attempt to start a song gets 1 second of music and then the
player trips [07:43]: amp goes off (Power Switch II) and player shows
boot screen.

What kind of player is this? Are you saying it spontaneously rebooted?!?

Two observations form your log files:

- the one which covers a full day shows a server restart around midnight. Is this something you did on purpose, or something that happens automatically?

- you seem to be using a custom client_id. Is this correct? Did you modify it in the log file?

- right after the restart I don't see any message for the newly started daemons. Is this due to logging not being enabled yet? Is logging not enabled when the server starts? Please make sure it does: check the "keep settings on restart" box on the logging page.

And always send me a full day worth of log files...
