Sorry, my bad. I have all threads displayed in htop, when I press "H"
they collapse and only three processes show. One for each player

SB3. Yes.

I am not aware I did anything at that time. I can't see anything in
syslog at that time either. I have no clue why this happens. Can I check
for anything?

the logfile I dropped in your dropbox is unmodified. What is a custom
client_id?

The logging continued after the restart of the player, I didn't have to
do anything. Even though the "keep settings" was not ticked.

I dropped you the latest vintage of log files. I noticed two restart
entries over the day today when I was out.
In the end you see the result of me unticking one player (Cabinetbox),
and re-ticking it again, b/c it didn't show in Spotify to connect to. I
see one spotty-hf process going away and then coming back. But I don't
see Cabinetbox show up in Spotify Connect.
I then restarted LMS from the commandline. This gave me all three
players to connect to.
