I have a question that's sort of peripheral. Do you have any insight into what determines how an app such as this interacts with a car's infotainment system? Most audio apps on my phone function properly, inasmuch as artist, title and album metadata display on the car's display and the car's controls will pause and skip tracks. In the past this included the LMS controller app I've been using, although 'artist' data never did. Some time ago it all stopped interacting. Only Bluetooth audio going from the phone to the car functions. I'd been hoping that Squeeze Ctrl would successfully restore this functionality but it doesn't seem to. Nothing to do with the car's firmware had changed. The phone hasn't experienced a major Android version upgrade.
