Didn't quite work out for me - might be me reading too much into what it can do or perhaps having it set-up incorrectly for the player I tried it on.
It's more on the "read too much into it" side: Even though you started the seed based on tags, the DSTM part would not use the tags as its primary criteria to continue the mix, but it would take the songs themselves and get tracks similar to it (based on whatever criteria Last.fm is using).
While "whistling" is an odd one to pick ... I guess the same would apply to other tags from last.fm - like London, Running etc
That's correct. This issue is similar to the "female" case I mentioned in the introduction which would open up pretty quickly to a wide range of tracks.
