FWIW I have found that the Genre based Random Seed - https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110023-Feature-Request-Random-Seed - which admittedly has to start with 5 local files is fairly accurate and to date has only crossed into something other than the chosen Genre on one occasion since I started using it.
