I too have been experiencing a variety of problems with all versions subsequent to 1.7.6. I have attached a start up log of 1.8.3.1 (which didn't find the player) and a log after deleting the 1.8.3.1 binary and substituting the 1.7.6 binary. This plays all file types correctly. LMS 7.9.2 nightlies via Windows 7 PC to a Naim Uniti2 playing aac, flac, pcm, and mp3 in 'thru' mode. FYI 1.8.2 will play aac, mp3 and some local flac 44.1 files correctly, but other 44.1 and 24 bit files just play white noise, and streaming flac (Radio Paradise and Qobuz) don't work. I can get everything to play by setting to transcode at 16 bit 44100 PCM but this is not an optimal solution and have reverted to 1.7.6 until sorted (hopefully!)
