Thanks!
It seems to work, but not certain there is sound since I am 120 miles
away from the unit right now. Will be there Friday night to verify.
The command results in this:
Reading config file /usr/local/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf
: No such file or directory
get_path('') -> '/var/services/homes/admin/.mplayer/'
get_path('config') -> '/var/services/homes/admin/.mplayer/config'
Reading config file /var/services/homes/admin/.mplayer/config
Start playing music in background.
The process is reported running with ps -axf:
15302 ? S 0:00 avahi-daemon: running [Akela2.local]
21863 ? Ss 0:00 /var/packages/AudioStation/target/bin/mplayer
-gapless-audio -ao alsa -unique USB -daemon /volume1/music/Jethro
Tull/The Best of- T
Does the avahi-daemon have anything to do with this?
"-v" after mplayer does not change any output.
