Hi slartibartfast, It takes about 30 seconds for a track to start playing when played via the Spotify app on Android. This is roughly the same whether played through wired gigabit or wireless (I've tested both 2.4 and 5GHz). If I skip a track via the app, it takes 12-15 seconds to start playing. Pausing a track is almost instant.
