I'm really not going to argue over preferences - everyone has their favourite way of doing things. I can only code for what works for me. I predominately use Album Artist -> Album. For this, an artist list, followed by a grid of their albums is the most suitable. I have stated that I -could- add paging of the returned lists onto the grid view; but this would be sub-optimal. Which is why I have not implemented this so far. However, the source is open so you are free to have a go at implementing this yourself. bobertuk wrote: > > New Music displays as Grid if I set New Music display limit to 299 but > where you say "Albums displayed in A..Z groups, or under Artists, can > still use the grid (if 300 or less)" I don't find that to be the case! > For me anything more than 99 always displays as a List. If I set the new Music limit to 299 I still got a grid, with the fix (just commited) I can also set to 300 and get a grid. I've also created ~200 fake "Various Artists" albums - and these also appear in a grid (when viewed Various Artists -> list of albums) Perhaps, seeing as your are running the git version, that the cache is incorrect? Add "?clearcache=true" to the browser's URL - this will cause Material to clear it caches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
