Nikolay, I would like to better understand you. Could you explain
again? SLX will check if output device is available and if not, it will
revert to Default. (I do this because the squeezelite player will fail
if I try to start it up with an output device that does not exist, and
often I cannot recover, so I need to make sure SLX does not do that.)
Maybe what you are saying is have SLX remember what you wanted so that
when you do reconnect the USB Audio card it will work. I'll think about
how that might possibly be done. Rather than revert to Default, maybe
it would be better just stop and show an error.

If the Operating System randomly renames the USB audio cards between
sessions, then I don't know if it is possible for me to work around
that.
